Good Groove was formed just over 7 years ago by brothers Gary and Mark Davies. Gary was a former BBC Radio 1 DJ and Top Of The Pops presenter and Mark is a partner in top music law firm Statham Gill Davies. Justine Young also helped build the company from its inception and is General Manager of Good Groove Songs and Recording running the day to day operations. In 2004 Tracey Fox joined the creative team after many years in A & R and a post at Warner Chappell to build upon the success of Good Groove. Good Groove Songs is a small, but dynamic boutique music publisher. Our writers include Steve Chrisanthou, Tim Kellett, Grant Black, John Beck, Steve Bush, Adam Routh, Christain Burns, Ryan Laubscher and Sarah Barton Keeley. Good Groove's many catalogue gems to date range from the hit song 'Black Coffee' by All Saints to three songs on the No 1 debut album by Corinne Bailey Rae, including the singles 'Put Your Records On' and 'Trouble Sleeping'. Successes also include 2 songs on James Morrison's multi-platinum ‘Undiscovered’ album including the single ‘One Last Chance’, 2 songs on Kylie Minogue's 'Fever' album and 'Have You Ever Been In Love' by Celine Dion which was so good she ended up putting it on 2 albums! Our catalogue includes many cuts by Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Charlotte Church, Simon Webbe, Emma Bunton, Atomic Kitten, Rachel Stevens, Holly Valance to name just a few. For more information please have a look at the released songs section of our site. Good Groove Songs is completely independent in the UK and is represented around the world by a carefully chosen network of independent publishers. Good
Groove Recording was formed in the Summer of 2004 when we fell
in love with a new unknown singer from Leeds called Corinne
Bailey Rae. Corinne
had been writing with newly signed Good
Groove writers Steve Chrisanthou
and John Beck. We were so
blown away by what we heard this led to us signing Corinne
to a production deal to record her debut album... which currently has
sold in excess of 4 million copies worldwide! * Tom Nichols and Steve Bush are no longer active .... |
